On November 15, the Rogge Dunn Group welcomed four Ukrainian combat veterans who fought in the Battle of Kyiv. These veterans defended the capital during Russia’s failed attempt to seize the city in February 2022.
Rogge Dunn first met the veterans during a May charity mission to Kyiv. “They touched my heart with stories of courage and sacrifice,” Dunn told CBS News. “These people have been put through so much that we need to help.”
Russia’s full-scale 2022 invasion—an escalation of its 2014 incursion and illegal annexation of Crimea and parts of eastern Ukraine—has continued to drive international support for Ukrainian defenders.
